Setting Up Port Forwarding

Having some trouble? We’re here to help:

Port forwarding is the process of opening up a specific port through the VPN that is public facing. This allows outside traffic to access your computer. An example of this would be remote access, where you would use port forwarding to access your home computer while you're traveling.

How To Setup Port Forwarding

You will need to email us at help@ghostpath.com to setup port forwarding. Tell us which port you'd like to use and your username. You can choose from ports 49,000 - 49,999 UDP or TCP. We'll let you know when we have everything set up on our end.

OpenVPN is required for port forwarding... PPTP and L2TP won't work.
